Applications of Explosion Suppression System

Smart Protection With An Advanced Explosion Suppression System

In industries where combustible dust or gases are present, even a small spark can lead to a dangerous explosion. A Chemical Explosion Suppression System provides an active and intelligent protection method designed to safeguard process equipment from dust or gas explosion hazards.

What sets a truly professional Dust Explosion Suppression System apart is the hardware. Our setup consists of a central controller, highly sensitive pressure or optical detectors, and specialized High Rate Discharge (HRD) bottles.

When a deflagration starts, the pressure inside your vessel builds up rapidly. The fundamental operation of the system begins with the detection of a rapid pressure rise during the initial stage of an explosion (deflagration). High-quality pressure or optical detectors continuously monitor the internal conditions of the vessel. As soon as the system detects a rapid rate of pressure increase over a specific time period, it instantly activates the controller.

The controller then triggers the High Rate Discharge (HRD) bottles, which inject a precisely measured extinguishing agent into the protected vessel. This chemical suppressant is dispersed rapidly and homogeneously throughout the enclosure, inhibiting the explosion before it can fully develop. The system prevents vessel rupture and protects connected ducts and pipelines from secondary damage by reducing the internal pressure.
